UPDATED 2-12-2023
FIRST OFF, THANK YOU to all my customers who have bought their own Simple Dial-A-Boosts! You all literally kickstarted Twisted Builds LLC with your support and use of this product. Twisted Builds LLC at this time has decided to RETIRE the original Simple Dial-A-Boost product. Currently, Dial-A-Boost 2.0 is currently in the works and will be launched when development is finished.
This page will remain posted for a reference of the product.
What is this? As the title says (and as I clear my throat), This is a Simple dial-a-boost arduino boost controller, that I have built at the request of Matt Happel of Sloppy Mechanics. What it consists of is a arduino uno board, with a OLED display, a 10k ohm potentiometer, a 5vdc voltage regulator (to regulate vehicle voltage down to arduino uno voltage), diode for solenoid flyback voltage protection, transistor for solenoid control, a custom printed PCB board I designed myself as a arduino “shield”, a project box to house it all in, and 3D printed OLED bezels and parts inside to make it a nice clean looking boost controller. Here are videos of the build. These videos are posted in the order of the time they were recorded . These videos are of the prototype unit, before any of the 3D parts were made for the unit to make it look nice and clean like the above photo. Videos of me building and testing the prototype unit I sent to Matt Happel to use on his Chevy Colorado
Here is a video from Matt Happel bench testing the prototype unit

BOOT SCREEN AND 100% READOUT OPTIONS Free options are as follows: The standard units come with the “Simple Dial A Boost” boot screen you see in the photo of the unit a the top of this page. The other free option is this Sloppy Mechanics inspired Racoon boot screen. I ALSO DO CUSTOM BOOT SCREENS, if they fit in the screen for a additional $5.00 fee. For a example , here is one I did for a customer who custom ordered his with a custom boot screen, just to give you a idea on how detailed you maybe able to get:
Also, the standard units have a simple 100% readout screen when the simple dial a boost is turned up all the way. However there are free custom readouts for this setting as well. The free options currently are: “KILL” and “RICKY BOBBY”. I also do custom 100% readouts as well. Simple dial a boost units will need a way to mount it to your car, either with velcro, 3M double sided adhesive, etc. You will also need 18 gauge wire to wire the unit into the car along with a inline fuse holder OR fuse protection of some sort. Recommend a 5 amp fuse for the unit. The units come with instructions on how to wire the unit to the car plus boost solenoid recommended plumbing. Its only 4 wires to get the simple unit functional. The units look like the first photo in this page now and function s EXACTLY like the one Matt tested.
Thanks you everyone who purchased a simple dial a boost unit and stay tuned for the future products I have coming soon!
